I’m Ozan, a software engineer with over 10 years of experience.
For some time, I wanted to build my own product, but I struggled to come up with good ideas. So, I started to dig into Reddit to see what problems people were talking about in different communities. I started reading posts and comments, trying to find patterns and interesting problems — but it is difficult and time-consuming to go through everything.
At some point, I started to think like "I can't be alone". There must be lots of people like me — with technical skills and the motivation to build — but stuck trying to figure out what to build. So, I decided to solve that problem.
While researching, I found a tool called GummySearch, which is really good, but most of its useful features are behind a paywall and it’s not cheap. I wanted to make something similar, but more affordable — something indie hackers and solo founders could actually use without worrying about cost.
So I built Reddiscope — a simple, budget-friendly tool that helps you find real problems and ideas from Reddit. It gives you insights so you can focus on doing what you love: building products that help people.
I really enjoyed making it, and I hope it helps you as much as it helped me. If you find a bug or have an idea for a feature, I’d love to hear from you!
